UKTV Drama and The Bill

Just signed this petition. As a fan of TV show The Bill I’ve been enjoying watching the UKTV Drama ‘from the beginning’ run of the show which started a few months ago. Now they have decided to skip 9 series, which is just not on. Hoping to pester them to put the show on overnight or on demand.

A new look for Coleman Web

Late last year I decided to resurrect Coleman Web from its archived state over at WordPress.com. In the process I moved the site back to its previous hosting provider NetHosted and decided to go for a no tracker/cookie approach. The move allowed me to use a fresh WordPress install and to import and edit my old content and links.

Today the site has been updated with the WordPress Twenty Fifteen theme. This underpins my simplicity approach with a clear and dynamic visualisation. Previously separate menus linking to pages, posts, categories and other websites are being reviewed and merged to provide one simple menu to bring content closer to the user.

Coleman Web – Hosting Update

Coleman Web has undergone some changes in the background over previous months. The site has been moved from its lovely home at nethosted.co.uk over to wordpress.com. The site is still WordPress powered and the look and feel of the site has been for the most part maintained.

Why move?

The move was necessary as part of a general tightening of my wallet as I looked to get the same for less from my outgoings. As Coleman Web is a personal website and a free service was available (although more restricted than a self-hosted wordpress website) I decided to take the plunge.

Thanks to NetHosted.co.uk

I would like to thank the staff at nethosted .co.uk who have delivered an unbelievable level of service at all times of day and night. Always helpful, no matter how stupid the question with polite responses sometimes within minutes late at night. If you are looking for UK based website hosting services please check them out.

Why keep this site going?

I’ve often asked myself this at times, especially when I don’t update it for months at a time. However, I do find myself returning to the site. I’ve tried Facebook and others but they don’t appeal to me. So for now, I keep the lights on.

See the past of Coleman Web!

From the links below you can see some of the past incarnations of this website. Some of the links will not be in working order or may bring up a page from a different date. This is possible thanks to the Internet Archive: Wayback Machine which you can use to search past incarnations of other sites as well.
